With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and experience in recruiting technical candidates, I made the step to DAF Trucks. What started as a role as a Recruiter quickly led to an inspiring and challenging career. Thanks to a tip from an acquaintance who also works at DAF, I applied with great enthusiasm. The combination of American influences and a warm, family-like atmosphere immediately attracted me and felt like a perfect match.

I have collaborated with many fantastic colleagues, building a large internal network that has enabled me to take on various roles. DAF has offered me countless development opportunities. From Recruiter, to Human Resources Business Partner for PACCAR Parts. This transition allowed me to further develop my HR skills and get closer to the core of DAF: the people. My interest in the operational side of the organization led me to the role of Commodity Manager HR, where I was responsible for Supplier Management and Stakeholder Management.

I currently work as the Continuous Improvement Manager within Purchasing. Here, I coordinate the continuous improvement of purchasing processes, drive supply chain sustainability, and prepare the purchasing workforce for the future in a rapidly changing market. This position offers a perfect mix of experiences in both HR and the business, always keeping the human factor in mind. It is wonderful to see how my work contributes to the broader objectives of DAF and the sustainability of our processes.
